Patricia Diane Mouboua, M.S. Ed

Patricia Diane Mouboua, M.S. Ed, CAS ID is a dedicated education specialist with over a decade of experience in curriculum design, instructional development, and education management. With a strong background in fostering global education initiatives, she has worked with international organizations, government agencies, NGOs, and academic institutions across Africa and the United States.

Currently serving as an ENL Teacher at Seymour Dual Language Academy in Syracuse, New York, United States, Patricia designs and delivers inclusive, culturally responsive lesson plans that support multilingual learners in science, social studies, and the humanities. Her expertise lies in scaffolding instruction, leveraging data-driven insights, and integrating technology to enhance learning outcomes. Previously, she worked as a French Language Teacher at Varsity Tutors, where she developed instructional materials, course content, and curriculum. She also contributed to administration, project implementation, and capacity-building training of Congolese civil servants at the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and partnered with a local NGO to implement school renovations, fundraising initiatives, and educational activities in peri-urban and rural areas of Kinshasa, improving access to quality learning environments.

Patricia holds a Master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Syracuse University, an Advanced Certification in Instructional Design, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Policy Leadership and Management from East China Normal University. She has authored several articles on bilingual and multilingual education, showcasing her research-driven approach to language learning and instructional practices (Google Scholar).

Fluent in French, English, Lingala, and Kikongo, Patricia actively contributes to multilingual education and community engagement. She is a member of the New York State Association for Bilingual Education and has received multiple accolades, including the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) award and a UNESCO/China Fellowship. She continues to advocate for inclusive and equitable education worldwide.
